What it does

Hospitable, formerly Smartbnb, is short-term rental management software. The company says the Smartbnb name changed on 10 August 2021. A product brief updated in October 2026 lists four plans: Essentials at no monthly fee, Host, Professional and Mogul. Paid plans are priced per property. Native channel connections named there are Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and Agoda. Expedia and Tripadvisor are described as iCal imports rather than native links. Inbox AI that can send without approval, and a host assistant called Copilot, are on the Mogul plan.

Who it suits

Hosts who want a published monthly price and automated guest messaging, including a free starting plan.

Integration and setup

Direct bookings are a separate Hospitable product, with a 1% fee on Direct Basic and a 7% fee on Direct Premium in the markets where that plan is offered. Confirm which of your OTAs are native before you cancel another channel manager.

What to check before buying

• Compare Host’s two-property cap with Professional if you expect to add a third home.
• Test an iCal channel against a native channel for double-booking risk.
• Read which AI replies require the Mogul plan.

Limitations and considerations

• Inbox AI that sends on its own is on Mogul, not every plan.
• Some channels connect by iCal rather than a native API, so sync speed will differ.
