Chekin

Visit Chekin

Run online guest check-in and identity capture, with published per-property euro prices and a three-unit minimum.

What it does

Chekin sells online and in-person check-in for accommodations, including identity capture, remote access and virtual keys. The pricing page lists Basic from €3.95 per property per month and Premium from €5.95, each with a minimum of three accommodation units. It also lists transaction fees, including 1.5% plus €0.30 on deposits. A referral note on the site says referrers can earn 15% of revenue, up to €500.

Who it suits

Hosts and small hotels in markets that need guest registration, who have at least three units.

Integration and setup

Legal guest-registration fields differ by country. Confirm Chekin covers the police or tourism filing you actually have, and which PMS creates the check-in record.

What to check before buying

  • Apply the three-unit minimum to your invoice.
  • Add deposit fees if you take security deposits.
  • Ask where identity images are stored.

Limitations and considerations

  • The minimum of three units makes the headline rate a poor guide for one home.
  • Deposit fees sit on top of the subscription.
